He currently consults at Navachethana Hospital in Yelahanka and Rao’s Ortho Clinic in Basaveshwar Nagar, Bangalore. He also serves as a visiting consultant at Fortis Hospital, Rajajinagar.

Dr. Rao earned his M.B.B.S. from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences and completed his orthopedic training at Madras Medical College, obtaining his D.N.B. in Orthopedics in 2008. During his training, he was mentored by esteemed professionals such as Prof. Mayil Vahanan Natarajan and Dr. K. Srinivasan at Manipal Hospital and Columbia Asia Hospital in Bangalore, gaining invaluable experience in joint arthroplasty and complex trauma management.

He further enhanced his expertise through specialized fellowships in Australia between 2011 and 2013:
