Surg), FRCS (Intercollegiate – HPB Surgery), CCT (UK HPB and Transplantation), European Transplant Diploma Lead Consultant Liver, Pancreas and Abdominal Transplant Surgeon, comprehensive Liver Care Group, Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru Academic Interests : He has authored numerous indexed publications (>40), books and has contributed to UK and Indian national Transplantation and HPB guidelines. Closely involved in developing educational training courses for general and specialist surgeons. “Return back to society”: He also runs a not-for profit organisation – ILC Foundation which focusses on increasing awareness of Liver diseases, works towards preventing them, carries out related educational activities and is trying to make Liver related care more affordable. His vision for the future of HPB Surgery and especially of Liver Transplantation is to ensure that the benefits of the advances in the Specialty benefit all. Towards this end he has developed an Affordable Liver transplant model for children and developing and growing this further is of key value for him and his team. Associated with many start-ups which are seeking to leverage the current digital technologies to maximise the societal reach of developments in Healthcare
